Crampons

Some friends and I are heading up in two weeks and after hiking the headwall many times without crampons, we are thinking to use some this year. If someone could recomend a place to rent them please let me know.

I bought a pair last year at EMS in North Conway. At least I think it was EMS. Its the outdoor gear shop located in the Eastern Mountain Slopes Inn on the main drag. They rent them, but considering the price difference it made sense for me to just buy them. There number is 603-356-5433. EMS in North Conway will rent Koflach Degre plastic mountaineering boots for $20/day. Crampons are also available for $10/day. I have a pair on reserve for this weekend. This is a deal if you don't want to spend $249 for these boots.
