"Do Not Subscribe"

Folks may be interested to find that the new software defaults to:

1. subscriptions to any threads to which you post or reply
2. e-mail notification of new entries within subscribed threads

It's easy for users to change these options, but if you don't, you may be bombarded with e-mails.

Didn't realize it was doing that by default el-bagr. It looks like for existing members converted from UBB, some of the fields don't default to the appropriate state. Same goes for Time Zone as RR found out. If current active members wish, I can automatically override this... not sure if anyone wishes the board to automatically send them notification of postings to threads they are involved in.

Looks like you already found it skilas. If so you shouldn't get this as an email also.
