mmmm cornice drops.
I had one let go on me inbounds at whistler kinda spooky fell about 30 feet onto my knees in powder (thankfully). I heard the whump! and had enough time to turn see the crack open and try to point it but to no avail.

Lying prone and frail the unsuspecting treker pauses to admire the penguin and when he takes off his pack to reach for his camera the Alpine Penguin leaps up for the throat to quench its thirst for human blood.
