Friday may 21st
Decided spur of the moment to head over to the great gulf for my last runs of the year. Looked foggy at the base but I went up anyway. Fortunatly it cleared, but the clouds rolled in and out all day.
Drove up the auto road, got some pics of the snow.

I then parked and walked over to the nearest chute (cannot be seen in the above pictures) Snow was nice, really soft. The sun came out and there was no wind in the chute. Meanwhile the summit was reporting fog and 70mph wind. Figures.

Convinced Dad to take a run.

Then I drove up the the summit and snapped a pic of the remaining summit snowfields.

Got a couple pics on the way down, you can see my tracks on the one below.

Next sliver of snow towards mt clay from the chute I skied.

I don't really know, but I'm assuming this is pipeline, that top section is continuous even thought it looks broken from this shot.

Overall, worthy last runs. There are 3 longer runs in the great gulf, none more than 120 feet of vert. The top section of pipeline is continuous, but is narrow and wont be continous for long. The part I skied and the next sliver of snow over will be there for some time.
