This has nothing to do with M@ and nothing to do with trips to the Ravine. Maybe it doesn't belong here. But here goes:
The Trikke (http://www.trikke.com/004/articleitem.php?id=2), the latest development in things that roll/glide.

The back wheels on those things have to get rotated every 10-15 miles. The are worse on wheels than me in my Barcelona's on my front wheels....and that's going some. Even then they scrape so quickly that after 25-40 miles they are toast.
I rode a device like that at an Expo back in 1998...it was okay, but I got whistled at by some coeds. Mrs RR didn't care to stay at that booth any longer and insisted I go look at ski boots.

Now *thats* a spouse worth keeping! ;)
The Trikke looks like it would be fun to try. Also looks like it could be a good workout. But I don't see switching from my bike, which can carry clothes, food, etc. wherever I go.

No disc brakes! Could be fun......?
Looks like a glorified razor scooter.
Guy in the pic looks contipated.
