Looks like there may be a few weeks of skiing remaing in the bowl. Many large crevasses within right section of bowl. Is about 600' of skiing. Saturday there were a few miny slides of 4" (one left, one center.) I will try to get some fresh pictures posted towards middle of week. Still some great skiing/boarding to be had. Forget the name of the particular areas, but there is a nice funnel left of the headwall location, and another nice run on far right. Middle a wider run, but shorter in length. Alot of happy faces up there this weekend. The hike up to the lunge rocks from Pinkham Notch is all bare of snow. Some trails closed. Upper Headwall closed.

I was also there on Saturday, and pleasantly surprised by the good conditions -- much less meltage than I expected from two weeks prior.
The firsttracksonline.com photos provide a good overview. I would caution you though to stay away from chute (i.e., the hourglass or funnel formation), especially since that is where the woman died the previous weekend.
I was there Sunday the 10th despite thunderstorms upon my late afternoon arrival, the skys soon parted and a great ravine was revieled providing this snowboarder with a few great runs in the middle and up to the right as well as two kickers. A great time for my first time ever at tucks i plan to head back up the 17th or 18th depending on weather, and what the new tropical storm does for the surf http://timefortuckerman.com/ubb/smile.gif. -ian
