Elwood: Do you want a short stop? Word is Nomar to the Cubs (some crap) and then Randy Johnson to the Red Sox. I for one salute our new pitching overlords and look forward to a better second half.

And here's to Nomar LOSING the world series in FENWAY this year, (that is, assuming he is playing for the honorable cubs).

One of my fonder memmories of Tuckerman involves the drive through Gorham at sunset listening to the Red Sox on the radio, on my way to Pinkham Notch of couse, typically on a thursday night.

This year we were able to get the desk clerk girl at the Joe Dodge lodge to check the internet RedSox.COM cause we couldn't find the game on any of our radios. Turned out it was a rain delay. I was 'this' close to asking if I could post a quick message herein, but alas, there was beer to be drank and pianos to play.
