I had a 46'' HD widescreen with a mass defective recall, then I got a 51" LCD projection DLP HD SONY, and it too had problems

GET hitachi they are known to be the best.

Buddy of mine just got a 50" Pioneer or Pioneer plasma HDTV... it's impressive..... especially for watching games. Now he'll never get out to play in the snow!

Ended up buying a 32" direct view Toshiba for the bedroom. Awesome HD! Complemented by Pioneer Amp and DVD, plus Canton speakers for the home theatre.

Our cable company gave us 2 HD PVR's and a plain digital box in exchange for our satellite PVR (thats TIVO for those of you south of the Canuck border). Only have to pay rental on one of the boxes.

Digital cable makes satellite look like trash! I was forever complaining about all the crap from over compressed video on satellite.

Much Music HD is definately impressive!

Will be watching :survivor: in HD tonight.
