Yep, got me some in my wrist and elbow.

with all the different camera/computer stations at different heights the ergonomics are always ideal. Don't really use mouses at work but rather wacom tablets--------------------->

Doc thinks these have a good deal to do with it - so no Photoshop for me for a while. Anyone ever experience such? I sucks, I can only hope for it too get worse and collect workmans comp from say jan-march ;)

What's your height and weight? I've heard before that these kinds of problems sometimes come from being over weight.

Sorry if that offends, becuase I honostly have no IDEA if you are overweight... and juding by the pix your not.

I've worried about that sorta stuff a lot happening to me. I've spend the past 3 decades on a computer, and don't have any problems. The only thing I can think of is that I also play piano, so maybe a different set of muscles get exersized.

A buddy of mine can mouse with either hand, so when one starts hurting he switches.

Or - maybe you need to subscibe to playboy. Wink wink.

Nope no offense, probably b/c I'm not overweight, though i've herd that before as well. It sucks, man. i'm pretty good at mousing with my non preferred hand b/c i've always had the pen and tablet on the right and the mouse on the left - so it's not bad. I can't use the pen with the non preferred hand though. It freaking hurts in the preferred hand. I feel like it's never going to get better... i mean sheesh you use your hands for everything. BTW wouldn't it behoove me to "cancel my subscription to playbow rather then subscribe" ;)

It's quite the NAGGING type pain. Though ice (and beer) seems to subside the throb at night.

Do you take any anti-inflammatory like ibruprofen?

Bummer about the pain. This bush dr prescribes Vitamin I and possibly glucosamine/chondroitin. I just started taking that stuff 3 weeks ago, and the improvement in my elbow (never hurt, just clicks since a poorly-run weightlifting session in high school) is crazy. Slightly different from your issue...

How bad would it be to hold the pen like a toddler/snowboarder ;) -- clutched upside down in your fist -- instead of the civilized way?

If you have the coverage, leverage it into a good course of PT with an RPT, get your MD to Rx that PT for you.

Seriously, any good RPT will get you exercising the "antagonist" muscles that obviously have become useless...obvious because you would not have tendonitis otherwise*. After 4-10 sessions you will have the routine memorized and can probably manage your own PT....really, go for it, at your age it will make you stonger than before.

* unless there was an infection that started it.
