Back at work today, and it is good to be in VT again.

Unfortunately, I will be mostly busy on the upcoming weekends, and don't know how much skiing I will be able to get in. I got an invite to a friends wedding in Fedruary...and the bachelor party is at the end of the month. Do I respectful;ly decline the wedding and hit the bachelor party?

How good of freinds are you? You could always be "busy" on the wedding and really make a big deal about being at the Bachelor party to make up for the wedding.......

Still want that Thule Rack?

Welcome home!

February is pretty short notice...unless the wedding is in prime powder location. Otherwise hit the bachelor party hard and skip the wedding to ski.

Welcome back..... I hope you dragged some of that cold precip back east with ya. Were they issuing personal floatation devices while you were out there?

Yes on the rack, definitely! How do we do this? I'm going to Boston this weekend, you coming to VT next weekend?

There was some good flooding out there, and they could have issued flotation devices. As for the precip, hope it is following me too.

Bannick, the wedding is in Portland Maine, so I may be able to get some ME skiing in. We will see.

Perfect early morning turns somewhere...if it is a powder day ditch the ceremony and hit the reception after. Powder to open bar (hopefully) sounds good.

There are no weddings on a powder day.

Anyone who enjoys mountains will understand....
Besides - who gets married and expects people to show up - during ski season anyway??? Whats up with that???

That's what I have been saying! He is a snowboarder too (so is the woman)! I just don't get it. I may just go to the bachelor party and respectfully decline the invite to the wedding. But I do want to ski in ME...

If ya get the invite to the wedding and don't go...remember you still should get them a gift.....you do have a year though...so says miss ettiquite Emily Post.
