It was in the mid-60's last night at Hunter...
All the ground cover is gone!!! I don't know how it held up on the mountain cause of all the fog this AM..
Now - it's snowing like a BIGDOG!!!! There's close to an inch on the ground and it's only been snowing less then an hour...

2 inches at sugarbush - snowing like crazy.

Here - raining hard - no snow on the ground but some snow banks still exist. Does snow earn interest in a snow bank?

Fog ruined all the ground cover here in Rutland too. But, as D said, in about an hour we have at least an inch on the ground.

Pouring rain in Portland as I type. Between 7 and 8 this morning, I could actually see the city snowpack disappear. My driveway, which has been snowpacked for weeks, is now 4" deep slush.

I guess I'm an optimist. I still left my touring gear in the car for a potential nooner... yeah right.

Funny - Suzy mentioned to me as I left for work that she was going to have to clear the driveway so it didn't turn to solid ice... but as I walked out side, I noticed that the driveway is spotless - everything on it melted except a small strip of slush at the end which is unclearable.

Sunapee, NH - it got up to 54F overnight (for at least 10 hrs!) and it rained hard early early morning and then between 8:30AM-9AM this morning the temps dropped to 32F withing like 20mins and has been snowing ever since. Big wet sloppy snow flakes!

We still have a couple inches of snow on th eground with grass poking through. Auuugghhh! http://www.timefortuckerman.com/forums/images/smilies/cry.gif

Weird weather man.... just plain weird!

Only good thing about this is I didn't have to shovel my deck or the driveway!

Another optimistic look now is that our weather pattern has returned to a 'normal' winter mode.... NOW BRING ON THEM NOR'EASTERS!

What they are reporting:

Jay: **Heavy Snow here at 8:30am**
The weekend is shaping up well. After some overnight showers, we've had heavy snow since just after 6:00am with 2 inches on the ground and more possible this morning before things wind down early this afternoon. By Saturday we're looking at bright sun, blue skies and temps in the teens and 20's and more snow on Sunday and Monday.
............
Bretton Woods: Forecast: Saturday: Variable cloudiness with chances of flurries. Temperatures in the low teens.
Base Depth: 10 to 36
Primary Conditions: Wet Granular Weather, Current: Temperatures have dropped to around 38 degrees, and we have light snow in the air!
............
The Loaf: they just plain obfuscated their report today...very uncool!

I often consider myself a obfuscated confabulator.

I wouldn't count on it NTrentT... Honestly the coverage is very thin, and Castlerock needs a lot of snow to coat those steep slopes...
