View Full Version : MidSummer T4T party on the horizon....

The days are getting close and I've been busy prepping (ya right...) for the event. Have kegs ordered and paid and ordered a platter... might get some wings, but we'll see about that during the party.

I have had some questions about accomodations...... you're staying onsite....AND for more than 1 night if you'ld like!..... no need to get hotel or other... This way you can get really silly and not risk DUI. I have an estimated space for about 10-15 tents and more up on the hill. There are 4 bedrooms and a couple other rooms should anyone wish to sleep on the floor in the house... also there are a couple screened in porches.

Now don't forget lawn chairs (or your favorite lounger), swim suits, towels, bedding(not needed for the beds), flashlights, mixers and booze for those whom prefer concoctions... I have a great blender for that. Oh yeah.... ice... we can never have enough ice. http://www.timefortuckerman.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif And bring your smiles smiles smiles! http://www.timefortuckerman.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

Hey P8's,
Maybe we could have a video setup so there can be some Tucks footage or Warren Miller or even a screening of 'Hot Dog'! Gotta see that KissAssBlaster one more time!

Thanks to 8's for having this thing....next time. Have fun and be safe all y'all! Tip a few for us we will raise some bottles to T4T say around the bonfire at 11:00 pm saturday night!

Various supplies have been aquired, 4 harps rounded up and the directions put with them. A little cash for keg shares and buying cooler ice has been aquired. Groceries are next on the list, veggie stuff for grilling and the odd sammich are chiefest on my list....then some TastyBite meals.....

Mayhap, this evening!

I'll try to check in here a few times today for any last minute questions/directions, etc.

Hey.... if anyone happens to go to Walmart today/tomorrow.... pick up some ping pong balls.... I'll reimburse whomever gets them. I have like 3 or 4 but you know how they have a habit of getting crushed or disappearing at parties.

Rep for the host of the best T4T gathering ever! PDWR8S has a beautiful house in the woods on Lake Sunapee with (49?) acres of privacy. G-d its gorgeous out there! Bladeguy and I took the tandem kayak out to explore the lake (we got out into the main lake and Mt. sunapee just drew us in!) for a bit. I think we were the only non-motorized vessels out there. The grillin's were plentiful, the lake temperature was just perfect for swimming (and no ping pong balls were lost to the lake), and the music went on into the wee hours. I didn't wear a watch, but it seemed like it was 4:20 all day ;)
I got some repetitive photos in my gallery (pretty pathetic, sorry to say).

No, no, no, no, NO! It would never have transpired if I suspected there would be a camera nearby....I'd have stayed onshore. Not because I'm shy, mind you....it's just that the water was SO cold!! ;)
I think the header has MORE than enough nakedidity with Affix's help, you certainly don't need mine!!

If I knew how to grab frames from all of the movie footage that I shot with my spycam I could post a number of interesting things - fun action at the rope swing and dock. I would have to be selective though - reputations are at stake and some things "happened in the moment" :) .

They're all great, but the one that I really loved that you had was in a 1930's journal I believe; taken from at or below the Little Headwall, the ravine looked liked a shapely wine goblet: call it "Venus de Tuckerman".
