super nice weather, big group...because of the lift access to mid station. There was a huge family event with band, bbq and rides and hikes all over the Mtn.

We did the usual line maintenance and cut a couple new. We did a cool thing too....a small, low angle glade* became official, being named for a child who died of an accident at his own birthday party. The Board agreed to his shareholder parents request and Jay & crew were given the task of fixing the sign to a tree and doing a thorough job on the new "Ben's Glade"

I tried out a disposable Digital, but I have so many shots left I'll post MRG 10/2 pix after next week's ....ummm....errr...ahhh....gardening in another location....

*(skiers right of Robin starting 70' below Periwinkle and down to exit just above Robin's junction with Wren)

Not usually....the MRG volunteers are foul weather friends.....

I'll be there, and then on Sunday I'll be a lumberjack on snowshoes...trail sculpture, it's a tough job, but so satisfying.

Besides Halloween is on Monday!
