I skied last weekend and it was great. It was my first time at tuckermans and I can't wait to go back. The only thing that scared me was the people who should be on intermediate trails. I saw a couple people get taken out by falling (boarders) and almost got taken out myself. If you can't ski everything at your own mountain please don't try to ski this one. Now to my point, i was wondering if it will be too hot this weekend,( i heard 70's) will people still be skiing or just partying. and do you think i should wait till the weekend after.......i just want to add everyone up there is so cool and friendly it was the best experience of my life and lets build a big jump, that one was pretty wimpy, then we can see some double heli's ....ya , this kids out

Too hot? If there is still skiable snow its never too hot in my opinion. Sweaty perhaps hiking up the trail, but great to bask in the sun on lunch rocks. Besides when else do you get to ski with snow sluffs...

I hear ya Dave...it is impossable to be too hot. Besides cold weather has never brought out a bikini on the lunch rocks! There is nothing like skiing down and jumping a contintuous sluff, awsome stuff! See ya on the 21st and 22nd. Bill. PS yes there will be snow and sunshine!!

Snow sluffs are small slides of wet snow that occur in warm weather on steep slopes such as the headwall. They look like a small river of constantly moving snow a few inches to a foot wide that creeps slowly down the slope.

If a sluff is big enough - and you cross back over it, it will knock you on you ass! Be carefull when crossing sluff!
