Well, it looks like the storm is going to be a bust for any BC plans (12 inches of snow, but so far southeast that there will be no base under it.) Thinking I'll drive to Sugarbush if anyone is interested in going. Leaving from Boston at about 5AM.

I could aslo be persuaded to try the Sherburn, although I'd guess conditions are likely to be pretty poor.

Just occurred to me that another option would be to head over to Wachusett and skin for a few runs there before they open (8AM, I think, which would require a 4AM start to make it worthwhile.) Twelve inches on top of a foot of manmade might work. Anyone done any preopening runs there before?
