Anyone have any experience with these? I was at my local EMS this weekend and they had a stack of them looking lonely and marked down. I had some knee complications so I don't know how much skiing or riding I'll be doing in the future(or at what intensity); these look like something different and a way to get back down after snowshoeing.

Thanks,
Chris

A little moisture and a quick freeze ... I think they'd work quite well on grass :D

Do you mean Mad River Rocket? I assume you are....

if so, FUN FUN FUN

got into it a few years back, as i knew a few guys who knew the people who started it up....the wife bought me one for father's day a couple years ago. If you can get one on sale i would say go for it, it's a welcome addition to the quiver. they are great on winter hikes, no need to hike down. Consequently i took one up to the parking lot snowfields at TUX this past year.
they are best on a steep pitch with pow....but then again steep pitch and pow is good with anything
