Seriously nice job man !

Quite unconventional for an Academic teacher..... ;) They usually don't get their hands dirty.

What type of paint did you use? You'll need that clear coat.

The base of a certain snowboard had a similar pattern once...I drooled over it for a long time. Therefore, I am drooling over your skis. They're awesome man!! They can't quite match the "FUN" snowboard though...

Mind you, the color on it is lime green, and the bindings were spray painted solid blue and the other one solid yellow. 'Twas fantastic. Then I stripped two of the inserts, so one of the bindings always got loose. Nor did it ever see a tuneup, so it had no edges. I was fantastic at sliding across ice!!

I'd say these skis are Hot For Teacher. Great for Eruptions through the white room and scorching Runs With The Devil that only the Ice Cream Man can put out.
You'll be skiing those like it's 1984 allover 'gain.

...sweet paint job :D

THANX guys.

I used Krylon FUSION paint. made for outdoor furniture and plastics. Drys fast. No sanding needed. Def puting on a clearcoat soon.

Nice work! Rep delivered.

I painted my first board - crappy Rossignol ride, but it looked cool. Didn't hold up super well though.

Later on I used 3M Scotchcal vinyl film to decorate my Salomon FR500 with wave patterns. That was a hot ride!

No desire to dress up my Arbor; it's already got a wood tux.
