hahahaha wow i love the re-enactment of the controlled slide. i'm pretty sure thats not proper "glissade" technique...

I was taught that if you're glissading, 2 hands on the axe always... Is that right?

Wow, you mean the feet-on-the-ice-axe slide is actually a technique and can be done safely?

basically this dude attempts to glissade by holding the adze out in front of him for a snowplow effect, the shaft is facing his stomach and the pick is facing straight up. He shiskebobs (someone help my spelling) his quad with the shaft, its a crazy x-ray
