Large avi on the backside of Mt. Eyak where my friend Redrob lives took the life of the local avi forcaster. My buddy was at the ski hill that day and saw the group go up and over the ridge above the slopes.

Red had to go up the next day to repair the weather tower on the top of the ridge where he saw the crown and the debris...he said it was BIG.

Man, that stinks.

Matchstick is in the area. They've been having a tough time with weather and getting closed out due to avi forecasts when the weather clears. Apparently it's been wicked wet up there.
