Got a pass. Thinking northern VT has a base now.....better than misrable iced up rock and stump hopping at cannon.... should be good lake effect this cycle too.

Anybody up for Stowe.... Only $100/day.... ok... Jay gives other pass holders a break..... But when you factor in repairing your bases, $100 is only $70.

There was apparently a huge crowd of misguided pow hounds at cannon on the weekend. Too bad there wasn't much pow. 4 tram wait! Nonetheless, they hammered away on the rocks and stumps hidden by the fresh snow.....always important to bring your gopro hero 2 for sessions like that! (we need a headcam icon)

Yup. NVT, the place to be.

Another (almost)foot at Stowe/Smuggs today, and more on the way (says 6-ish, but that's what they said last week...).

Saturday... things change... I advise people to get here before Saturday...

Gotta go with jt -- best to go where the base is. Waiting for FIS's Lionel Hutz to update his forecast this morning . . .

Can't believe I might actually get my first day of sliding in this year - sad. On the bright side, I've gotten a lot of great ice climbing days in.
