4-18/19 Northern Presidentials (Jefferson & King Ravines)

Details here:
https://picasaweb.google.com/1183643...eat=directlink

But a few pictures in brief . . .

Route (counterclockwise) was actually reasonably efficient in terms of skiing:non-skiing vertical descent at over 40% (although in terms of vertical:horizontal, not so efficient!):

Some turns above the hut after dinner on Wednesday (so that it counts as a ski "day" right?):

Thursday morning, The Beach (from just below the summit of Jefferson) skied perfectly, then hooked up as always into Stealth Gully to descent into Jefferson Ravine (with views of Great Gulf in the background):

The top part of the 7 had amazingly excellent snow *and* coverage, then the gully crossover was fine, although soon after that the snow disappeared (but fortunately I found the hiking trail almost immediately, since otherwise the lower elevations in King Ravine were horrendously schwacky):

Thanks. Now that's the real skinny on skiing up north. Helpful comments on the piccassa link.
