Nice pix M@!! Was the snow nice and soft or what? I'm really anxious to do the chute...I've done the Lip, Sluice, Right and Left Gullies without a helmet so far, but I really think I'd like to have one for the Chute, non? Looking at your photo, I'd say you'd agree. HB

Harkin: I didn't take those shots. I think it's the volunteer ski patrollers who did it. I wish I was there though! I love a day like that in the ravine. That many people there's so many things to watch... and the feeling of sharing that with everyone is great too.

I advise wearing a helmet going up the chute, yes. If you rag doll you've got a good chance of hitting your head on something very hard.
