A different cause for global warming?

This is what I've been observing over the past few years and now some scientists are speaking out on it...... This is not only happening on Mars but on the other planets in our solar system.

Mars Melt Hints at Solar, Not Human, Cause for Warming, Scientist Says

Simultaneous warming on Earth and Mars suggests that our planet's recent climate changes have a natural—and not a human- induced—cause, according to one scientist's controversial theory.
Earth is currently experiencing rapid warming, which the vast majority of climate scientists says is due to humans pumping huge amounts of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. (Get an overview: "Global Warming Fast Facts".)

RELATED Mars, too, appears to be enjoying more mild and balmy temperatures.
In 2005 data from NASA's Mars Global Surveyor and Odyssey missions revealed that the carbon dioxide "ice caps" near Mars's south pole had been diminishing for three summers in a row.
Habibullo Abdussamatov, head of the St. Petersburg's Pulkovo Astronomical Observatory in Russia, says the Mars data is evidence that the current global warming on Earth is being caused by changes in the sun.
"The long-term increase in solar irradiance is heating both Earth and Mars," he said.
Solar Cycles
Abdussamatov believes that changes in the sun's heat output can account for almost all the climate changes we see on both planets.
Mars and Earth, for instance, have experienced periodic ice ages throughout their histories.
"Man-made greenhouse warming has made a small contribution to the warming seen on Earth in recent years, but it cannot compete with the increase in solar irradiance," Abdussamatov said.
By studying fluctuations in the warmth of the sun, Abdussamatov believes he can see a pattern that fits with the ups and downs in climate we see on Earth and Mars.
Abdussamatov's work, however, has not been well received by other climate scientists.

Thought it was well known

That we are in the highs of a solar cycle, but that by itself is not enough to explain temperature and Co2 levels rises. That is the order of magnitude of changes is higher than what one expects from a solar cycle.

while of compelling interest, the report will be used by some to justify all sorts of bs because so much power and profit is at stake.

If all the ice melts we could calculate the H20 saturation of the atmosphere and then know the sea level...if you own land above 100 feet and are within 100 miles of an ocean your heirs will have land troubles with a lot of new neighbors in the near term. Likely there will be a repeat at 200 feet or so a generation or two later.

or, in my case, if you're within 1 mile of the ocean, at about 3 feet elevation, you'll have land troubles of a different sort.

While I agree that there is alot of variables at hand with our global warming problem, it's pretty hard to look at the graph below and say that carbon dioxide DOESN'T isn't *at least* a major player.

It has nothing to do with carbon dioxide, it has to do with the number of pirates... DUH
