surfed from 11am-1pm in fun, small, clean conditions. after that the wind got on it and never let up. tomorrow should be good, at least everyone i talked to today seemed to think so. looks like early morning is the ticket as the winds may get on it even by mid morning. if it looks to be good all day, i'll surf early in the morning and may see you after i get outta work. i'll be parked at my buds house on 10th street.

Looked for you yesterday PM session. I surfer between 12th and 14th yesterday. Seemed like it was hitting a nice bar around 13 but it was hard to stay lined up on it cause of the crazy strong south to north current. Work to reward ratio was out of balance and my arms were shot after 2 hours so went home around 6:30. All in all beautiful chest + waves. We definitely need a god storm to come through and Break up the uniformity of the bottom and make some new bars.

Surfed Yesterday Morning
nice waves to look at in the morning and got better towards 8am with more water, but the wall basically sux unless it's closer to high tide. tuesday the waves were knee high at best and clean an hour after high tide and i got way better rides than yesterday morning with waves that were twice the size. blew off going last night as i just didn't want to deal with low tide and crowds. got a good workout in the morning tho.
may look at it again for tomorrow morning or afternoon.

wednesday afternoon rocked
who was out wednesday afternoon? bueller? i was on my sup wearing boardshorts and longsleeve shirt out at the 16th street sandbar. sick lines, water felt super warm, weird pollen slick on the peaks, inside was a swimming pool. it's too bad the wall is so messed up. hopefully we'll get a few powerful tropical swells to reset the sandbars...
pray for surf

Heard some good things about Nicaragua - enjoy! I'm trying to convince my wife that a "family" vacation on the west coast of Costa Rica would be a good way to spend Feb or April vacation I know a guy with a rental down there and has sent me pics of beautiful 100 yd+ waves. Might have to get a waveski though, kayaks can be a hassle for flying... Looks like some stuff out there today for kayaks and LBs, not high quality but hey....
