FS: Scarpa Sprit 4 27.5/28

Used for one season. Includes NEW UNCOOKED Plus Fit TT liners. Also included are customized Dalbello Krypton tongues that I got to fit this boot with the use of a Dremmel bit and some Yankee ingenuity. I'll also include touring tongues and the "stiff" factory tongues that come from Scarpa (they are NOT stiff though...)

Caveat emptor: There is one broken buckle. Easy fix @ any Scarpa dealer.

PRICE: 125 plus shipping

Here's some pics (no pics of the liners, but those are new, and no need to include pics)

broken buckle is on the left

toe insert is worn, but fully functional. holds without tour locking.

heel inserts are perfect

Hey!
It's almost that time again.
YEA!
I'm interested but unsure,
I'm currently in Garmont Megaridea.
Looking for a stiffer boot.
What say you?
Peace, Davy

i didn't like the megaride due to fit. if it fits thought it's a good boot and pretty comparable. the two boots are pretty tough to compare due to different constructions. the megaride is more like a traditional boot, whereas this boot (Scarpa spirit series) gets its stiffness from the tongue. i like that because you can adjust it to taste (as I have done with the dalbello tongues). not sure if it's for you or not though.

sent you a pm.

According to this post at TGR 313 BSL for Fall 2008, 2009

These are such low production runs doubt BSL's change within a model regardless of the year. But I am just throwing that at a wall.

Here is the link, post # 52.

the boot itself is almost the same stiffness as the spirit 3.

with the beefed up custom tongue, they're a good bit stiffer
