Question Mt. Greylock, MA

Hey, any Southern New Englanders out there that have done any sking or riding on Mt. Greylock, specifially thunderbolt. This Masshole is looking to make a trip up there this year and would like to talk to someone who has done it. Let me know.

This past fall I scoped out the thunderbolt and hiked 3/4 of it.

Looks nice, kinda confusing at some points, you need a map because its not really marked or cut that well.

I really want to go up so let me know when ur going.

Im near Hartford CT so its about a 1.5 hr drive for me.

Youll need snow shoes I think.


You start out in Greylock Glenn area, and not the normal entrance to the MTN.

I wanna do it too (coming from Boston), with splitboard and skins ideally. Hopefully the snow will catch up in the Berkshires.
