Post april experiences

april 1+2 1999---- hot and sunny. 60 degrees
awesome... corn snow and great coverage from the summit to pinkham 100% skiable.

april 1-4 2000----- rain, fog 34 degrees.
four days of murky chilly nastiness.
very dense fog.... we made only 2 runs on hillman's during our entire stay. the water falls were running full force and it was so foggy we didn't dare head into the bowl...
we would never have seen falling ice until it was too late.
the sherburn trail was a combination of rocks and sheets of ice... we hiked out in crampons on the tuck trail...

have fun, be careful and bring lots of phish
so you can rock out all night in the shelters.
