Really cool, but how do you stop? Can you "eject" if things get out of hand?

My dad has a power parachute - there are actually "brakes" that you pull down on, but not sure if it's the same with these kite/chutes.

Yep, there are two safety releases that will first attempt to depower the kite and then release it entirely ($1400 kite disappears) if, say, you are headed for the lip of Huntington Ravine in a 70 mph gust.

A year or two back, some catalog (Mtn Hardware / North Face maybe?) had a killer article and pics on kite skiing / boarding and climbing, Baffin Island I think. Anybody see that?
