TR: some recent photos

We've been back at the usual winter routine now and it feels great. Lots of time at stowe and elsewhere and a brief trip to the 'dacks. Its been a great week of skiing despite the finals. This TR is a little half assed, I'm still trying to finish up some school work.

watch allen's video before you look at the photos: (how do I embed?)
http://vimeo.com/2528883

now the pictures.

lines that vanish by the end of the season are fun again

ahhh, back at the office for another season

no leaning over to make it look deep here:

here neither:

backcountry ben

allen taylor: professional ski tail stiffness tester

feels good to be home again

top down:

bottom up:

allen hard at work:

greg following his lead:

i don't have any particular beef with trees, and you'd think after spearing one last year, i'd have learned my lesson, but i just love skiing through them.

greg getting his, moments before the face shot sequence from the video

greg is now banned from the foliage skis for getting too many face shots:

don't be jealous:

and a few from the 'dacks, i'm hoping greg has more because i got cold and didn't want to take pictures.

the objective

taking the slow speed quad up...

anyway, hope I didn't waste your time. no humor for this TR as I'm still stressing on work, i'm officially done with college tomorrow though!!!!!

Wright peak right?

Isnt that a sweet spot? The finger slide looks good, the bottom of the big one seems bony..

they seem to be fine, we aren't going big just yet though. I'd personally rather not be on them, but i'm sort of between sets of skis right now and its all i've got.

personally i've found that, at least at stowe in the managed woods, 20 is plenty, especially when it blows in. obviously more hazards and stuff, but you can link turns and not hit bottom on 20. don't quote me on that and don't hold me liable either.

thanks!

is that something that you guys would be interested in? maybe something you'd pay a little for? I'd be happy to put one together in either case. chime in with thoughts on the types of photos you'd like to see too. Would you rather the head shaking "whats going on in this picture", jumping out of trees photos, hucking pictures, or pure pow? Maybe some ski mountaineering stuff? a mix? let me know, i'm pretty intrigued by this idea.
