Sherbie blurbie
Friday and saturday runs on Sherburne. Excellent conditions- 98% packed powder w/ some powder on sides still left. Saturday was OBSCENELY cold. Minus 5 with 50 mph gust at Hojo's! Hung out for several hours seeing who showed and socializing. One guy had an incredible Northface 8000 meter down parka 3-4 inches thick around....but wore only tights w/no wind pants! A character! A Greyhound dog showed w/ a coat and head scarf over his ears. Owners should not have taken him up there. I shouldn't have taken myself up in that cold. The skiing was worth it though.
