Sugarloaf Reggae Fest

Anyone know if they allow car camping at Sugarloaf? Thinking about heading up for Reggae Fest.

due to a sellout in '05 i rented a uhaul with some buddies and we set up shop on birches slope / snowbrook above the mid station and stayed 100 feet from the trail. Super sweet accommodations and only 19.99 a day! No one hassled us whatsoever.

there is a great slopeside car camping spot by a building that just so happens to leave the door unlocked at night to access a great bathroom for drying gear, getting water and you know, other stuff. a certain lift top building doesn't suck either with it's heat and electric, even a radio, the morning sunrise views don't $uck either, but i wouldn't know anything about that .

actually it's not that one. the one i'm talking about is much warmer and cozy. the comfy chair with sunset views doesn't suck either. i usually do that trip in may after they close when you can still ski top to bottom, something that mount washington can't provide.

just an FYI, we are doing news coverage up that way that weekend, we have access to a camp (in kingfield) however it is BC condtions, it has places to sleep but we will need to heat it, and no electric, though who does anything but ski and drink on reggae weekend anyway right?

if people are responsible and trustworthy and would like to join in its free, just take care fo your food!
