Sounds of skiing from this past year

Snow is so light it makes that woosh sound when you make a turn in the untracked. - Wildcat 12.22 possibly

The sound corn makes when you spray the leaves on the edge of the trail turn after turn. - Sunapee 3.28

oooh, i like this game!!!

ok, so, this goes way back to yesterday at loon 4/3/09. so, i'm just skiing along, rollin em over edge to edge, round, wicked round, almost turnin back up the hill b4 initiating my next turn, round. it's just the way that i like to ski, semi slow, ROUND, turns of all sizes. anyway, i'm skiing in east basin all by my lonesome (gotta get used to it sometime) nobody around and all of a sudden i get this wild urge to relieve myself, no, not service myself, or drop a deuce, just drain the lizzard, standard trailside stuff. so i start to scan the trail sides for that perfect spot, semi hidden, but convenient in/out. so, then i spot my destination and pull up and off of the trail to sink down into some seriously rotten unsupportive sinky $hit. ooh, no likey. so, i move on down the trail a little bit more to find a better spot, a safe little island. i ski in to this between this and that paradise, get good stability results and wiz away. when i was done and zipped backup, i started to slide my skis in a rearward, or moonwalk motion. as i slid my ski back, i slid the other one forward and heard the coolest noise. it was like this nylon rubbing on nylon noise. this noise was a result of a very interesting topsheet finish with pure cold dryish corn running over it's surface. vvvv, vvvvvv, vvvvvvv! i must've stood there for like 3-4 minutes just shuffling my skis back and forth off of the side of the trail, on an island in the middle of a sea of madness, but it wasn't mad, it was mid week and dead, so that didn't make any sense, but i liked the way it looked when i wrote it so, i'm leaving it there.
anywho, that's my very cool winter of 08/09 snow noise and yes, at loon of all places. very cool unassuming place that loon is. wrecked my legs in half a day, now that's gotta be a good hill to do that! vvvvvv, vvvvvv, vvvvvv!

How about KKKKCCCCCHHHHHH, KKKKKCCCCCCHHHHH, KKKKKKCCCCCHHHHHH

My favorite conditions; loud powder!

My favorite sound would be the 'zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz' of a nice zipper crust. mmmm. Nothing quite like a zipper crust on a snowboard.
