the beauty of the high EC is it can be as fickle as fickle gets or as sublime as sublime can be. tough to get truly sublime without bouts of truly fickle. spend enough time learning the ways of the high whites and the rewards are truly without words. never skied anywhere else that really compares, in the grand scheme.
love it.

Way to get it.. Better, way to read it. Kudos, in spades. Didn't even think about the west side, but then that's why you got it and I didn't. Great call, but.."the lee"? Maybe for part of the storm... Thanks for the home work assignment. Lesson: don't count anything out. See you out there (if I'm a little smarter next time).

west side access to avoid potentially touchy tux passage, or lions head slog up n down. the bounty was in the lee of winds typical.
see you out there...........or at the bean for breakfast

Nice!
Looks like you were well rewarded for getting the boards out ahead of your trip! How much vert were the laps?

ya, had to dial one good george tour in before heading to the tropics in a few hours. pulled the trigger just in time after following the weather.
lap vert? well you can ski right from the asphalt pretty much and down to the usual long rockband, then down a bit to the left or the typical diagonal right. full vert per lap of maybe 650 if ya really wanted it. we were max'ing ours out at probably 550 or so.
