"Here's a Tuesday morning update - there is now a slight chance that we may get the repairs done to the upper mountain to enable us to open to the summit this Saturday, May 19. Underline slight chance... I normally wouldn't post any update this early in the week because it's so uncertain, but we're starting to get more questions and calls so this is the current situation. We need reasonable weather to get the repairs and paving done and the forecasts are indicating that we might get that. As always - operations are weather dependent."

I would really appreciate if someone could move the webcam (or the structure on the top of Wildcat) so we could get a obstructed view of the Ravine.

Pat, join the MW Obs and give them the funds for a taller mast for the cam. Mind, it has to withstand winds nearly as bad as those on MW so it will cost some serious money. Then, there are the necessary negotiations with Wildcat and the NFS.....
Sorry its not quite what we need to see the Ravine, I guess all parties did as well as they could.
