Saw a bunch of sleds up in the bowl on saturday. I've ridden an inner tube down the bowl before and it was a blast. There was no debris when I did it though, no ice chunks or big snow balls. That is NOT the case right now.
That big texas shaped slide left a huge field of big snow boulders which are gonna be impossible to navigate on a sled at high speed.
Lots of skiing - lots of deep snow - but danger at the bottom of what is usually a nice sled ride.
Leave the inner tubes at home is my advice.
