Daily Summit Report #6
I was finally awoken by a knock on my door at about 0400. I had been waiting for this for 5 days. The light was dim, pre-dawn, Jon stepped through my door after knocking and told me Dan says it should be a nice sunrise, a few patches of fog, but he's confident. I wasn't disappointed.
33 degrees, WSW 24mph, clouds over ME at about 3,000 feet. I stepped out onto the deck in my flannel PJ bottoms, thick wool socks, wool shirt, ski jacket and ski mask. As the sky turned red I could have believed I was a sailor. The low cloud cover resembled the stormy seas with every summit over 3,000 peaking through like so many islands of an archipelago. A few banks of clouds rolled over Jefferson to my left (N) as the great ball of fire rose above all that obscured it.
Today should be a great day for skiing.

#6.1
 44.3degrees, WSW30mph, visibilty fantastic. Shaping up to be a kicking sunset and a starry night. The day warmed up nicely, most summit 'visitors' were in shorts etc., I am now VERY tanned... er, a bit pinkish brown, sort of like that beautiful color of the thanksgiving turkey's skin when it is almost done and you poke it and the pink juices flow over it ... yeah, kinda like that...
{{I can't believe my rep hasn't shot through the roof with all these summit reports.}}

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Skilasnow again.

I know, I've tried too.
How much rep do you have to spread in order to give it to the same person again????

Well I did give you a YARRRR Matey....
I feel a Yarrr is a pretty close second to rep points.
(I have spread my self pretty thin and still can't give you more rep.)
