an interesting article this week.
http://www.burlingtonfreepress.com/b...nday/1000h.htm

2 weeks to do the long trail with no re-supply

i can't even go beyond three/four days without running low on supplies.
of course i DO like to live large when in the mountains.

cliffhuxtable will become famouser soon enough
yeah, that is impressive. my buddy just got done thru-hiking the AT and the longest he went w/o refueling was 5 days. he dumped his tent in PA and slept in a 1lb covered hammock > ME.

wonder how much $$ all that "lite" stuff costs.

i bet he spent some $$ in restraunts in town along the way.

Great article!... a good find. I've been following this guy's progress on his various adventures and been struggling to keep my pack weight to a minimum like they managed to do. I can learn a lot from going lite. (I'm sure my back will appreciate it!)

Onwards and upwards! For gravity shall reward you for your efforts!
