Red Sox vs Yankess game (gulp) SEVEN

Your attention please, ladies and gentleman, welcome to the Game 7 Thread.

Starting this one early. I'm actually feeling better today than yesterday, maybe becuase no matter how it turns out: The Red Sox did not go quitley into that good night.

Derek Lowe takes the monud, and I saw him in person dominate Game 4 - but I go back and forth liking and disliking him, kind of like Belhorn.

Wearing my Red Sox hat to work... not getting a badly needed haircut... almost decided not to buy a 12pack of Harpoon "Winter Warmer" last night becuase that's "After Baseball Season Beer," but then I realized I was taking it too far.

Now the question is WHERE to watch the game. Probably in my living room, as Suzy is supposed to goto a friends bday party - and I told her, you might end up being all alone at that party.

SkiChick will become famouser soon enough
Watching it in my livingroom - I have a feeling going out and getting a comfortable seat with a good view of a TV is going to be pretty hard here in Beantown. My couch and TV, however, are perfect!

Plus I am so tired, I will likely crash on that same couch immediately as the game concludes!

Go Sox!

That 9th inning had to be like that. 3-2 counts, up by two, one then two men on....it was unreal.

howbout that f-in cheapo arod!?! ***. suspend that man...then jeter was mouthing he was safe, safe. ughhhh! i wanted a seat in the park and my grandpops 30-30. i mean he slapped the ball right outta his glove! then the up signaled him safe when he didnt touch the bag. oh was i up and yelling. christ that could have had people out looking for rope and rafters. thank god justice prevailed.

I had never thrown anything at my TV before in my life - but I had a t-shirt in my hand when that happened and threw it... then took my hat off and threw it... now I understand how TV's get broken... good thing my beer wasn't in my hand!

I heard Steve Palermo (ex -ump, on MLBs ump comittee) discussing the safe call. It was correct according to him. The ruling is that he was not tagged out, and went past the base. The play was the tag and that was "safe" but the play was still alive. Now Steve also said that, A-rod continued to second, and f the Red-Sox appealed (threw the ball to first). A-rod would have been declared out.

Yes, very interesting. Funny the Fox announcers didn't know that

I still think Sean McDonough is a better announcer than Buck, and was pissed when Buck took over. I still think Sean's call of Joe Carter's walk off world series clinching home run is the best call I've ever heard.

Leiter, on the other hand, is the only one who has provided insight into things.

For others without a life

Follow the game threads on Son's of Sam Horn. They are a riot, riveting, insightful, crude, and worth a look....

Yeah gimmie Jerry and Al Leiter...or better yet Kurt Gowdy has been at all the games...get him to do the Call with Al and Jerry holding up the Color

Joe Buck is a dork. Last year during the playoffs he said, "I think the team that gets the most runs is gonna win this." And my remote control has no "SMACK" button...

Vision....M@ standing on the couch....shirt off waving it around his head in hockey rally towel fashion...beer spilling on the floor while cheetos shrapnel flies from his mouth from yelling at the ump....screen covered in a film of cheeto.....

First the cowbell song and now this image.

Jess asked me why I am so caught up in baseball all of a sudden....I said I am doing it for M@.
