Killington
Allright boys and girls
I have heard the killington has put the word out to some employees that they are shooting for a Halloween opening - not sure if that means Halloween day or that weekend - I will advise as I get some more info.

You're quite the insider I see. Post any info A.S.A.P. as i'd like to be there opening day too, but will need as much notice as possible.

Not surprised - I dont think they like to commit to their actual opening day just in case. I bet they will open on halloween.

The word from yesterdays meeting is that they wont be able to make enough snow this week because temps wont be consistently cold enough (they are after 4 nights in a row if possible) - dont want to make it and lose it right after.
I should get the word in advance of opening day and will post it as soon as I do!

I sent an email to info@kmart.com about this, but maybe you have a better connection: When will they announce the VT/NH days? Some people do plan a weekday ski trip this far ahead.

I heard similar: No Nov1 open, but shooting for a Nov 11 opening... just like last year. That's a thursday - I could definatly do that.
OMG: Actually thinking about where all my ski stuff is...

I am not totally connected - just have a friend who sits in on snowplan meetings etc. I can certainly ask, but I doubt he will know.
