I like the drinking dots! Yes, I heard the weather report saying snow too! Oh Boy! Oh Boy! Oh Boy! Let's not get too which could lead to
which could get embarrassing because some may get irritated by obnoxious behaviour and then !!!

Drink and feel Merry!

From this mornings NOAA northern VT wether discussion:

key points in bold:

WITH ALL SNOW EXPECTED ACRS THE NORTHERN GREEN MTNS BY 18Z.
HOWEVER...AS TEMP PROFILE BCMS COLD ENOUGH FOR SNOW THE BEST
LIFT/MOISTURE ASSOCIATED WITH INITIAL 5H VORT AND ADVECTION LIFTS
INTO NORTHERN NEW ENGLAND. THEREFORE...FEEL ACCUMULATING SNOW WL BE
ASSOCIATED WITH UPSLOPE EVENT ON FRIDAY AFTN INTO SATURDAY MORNING.FACTORS FAVORABLE FOR AN UPSLOPE EVENT INCLUDE...blah blah blah...FAVORABLE SNOW GROWTH
AREA ABOVE BEST AVAILABLE MOISTURE AND NOT THRU REGION OF MAXIMUM
LLVL OMEGA. HOWEVER...CRNT FEELING IS THAT ADVISORY CRITERIA SNOW WL
BE MEET ACRS THE FAVORABLE UPSLOPE REGIONS OF THE WESTERN GREEN MTNS
ACRS NORTHERN/CENTRAL VT AND WESTERN SLOPES OF THE ADIRONDACK MTNS OF
NORTHERN NEW YORK. BY SATURDAY MORNING I WOULD EXPECT 2-5 INCHES OVER
THESE REGIONS WITH THE POTENTIAL FOR JAY PEAK AND OTHER SKI RESORTS
TO RECEIVE UP TO 6 OR 7 INCHES.

Yesterday I saw my first snow, falling naturally. It wasn't the kind of snow that lands just the kind that blows around through the air. They are calling for snow tonight. Whoo Freakin' Hooo.

Snow is no longer in my friday forcast (So. NH) but it's in the mountain forcasts a lot more - which is good, cause I don't ski at home.

Funny, i do ski at home.
I have just enough of a hill to make about 3-4 tele turns at about 5-8mph. Sad but fun. I couldnt even get enough speed to make a little jump!

Just got this from .....

We've Got Snow on the Horizon

Our latest weather report indicates that we should see 4” to 8” of snow over the next 48hrs (1”-3” tonight, 2”-4” tomorrow, and 1” tomorrow night). In addition to the natural snow we’re expecting we will also be firing up the snow guns midweek next week. Forecasts call for consistently lower nighttime temps starting Tuesday of next week and we hope to get a couple of good snowmaking days in before temps begin to rise again later in the week.

Given the expected warmer temps starting Thursday of next week, it is more likely that we will open November 26th (not November 20th, as we had initially hoped). We'll be in touch with updates!

WOO HOO!!!!

I got that image from this link:
http://www.weather.gov/forecasts/gra.../northeast.php

And you're right - it's damn hard to navigate - it's still in the expieremental stage. I know what you mean about not finding what you want all the time.

In the above link: Get to know the "Next Image" links and you should be able to find what you're looking for... but it's NOT the best interface in the world. I suppose in a way that's find by me, as it keeps the traffic down.

It's like that (insert random item here) that is always in the way - then you go to find (random item) b/c you actually need it and low and behold it missing.

That's kinda sums up my experiences at NOAA. I can almost never find what i'm actually looking for. They need a "wheather chart" page or something?
