Trey and Herbie Hanc0ck

After an intensive two weeks of solo work, writing lyrics and music for his next album, Trey took a break and spent the better part of the following week recording with jazz legend Herbie Hanc0ck cutting a track for Herbie`s upcoming album. The session also included John Patitucci (bass), Steve Jordan (drums), Cyro Baptista (percussion) and Jennifer Hartswick (trumpet, vocals).

The last week of October Trey brought in a handpicked band to cut tracks of his new material. For this session he was accompanied by the first-call rhythm section of Tony Levin (bass) and Jerry Marotta (drums) with Ray Paczkowski joining in on keyboards. A few familiar faces also collaborated on tracks for a couple of the tunes - Jon Fishman (drums), Mike Gordon (bass), and Jennifer Hartswick (trumpet, vocals).
