Last year was my first season on shaped skis.

I was skiing on my old K2 boards

I skiied with them for 15 years, and 15 year old boots too !!!!!

Im not a gear head at all, I know nothing about gear as of last month.

ive been doing tons of research on them because I need a new pair.

I got the Dynastar Agyle 7's from my father last season for Xmass.
Where he bought them they told him they were an expert all mtn ski.

After a few trips, I saw stress cracks in the tips. I did some research and found they were intermediate or beginer skis.

I brought them to Tux, they worked fine for me, all the way down LG.

But its a good excuse to get new stuff. So the wife is learning how to ski so insted of forcing her to learn on straight skis like last year, she will be on some nice shaped skis that work well.

And of couse Ill have my Atomic SX9's with 412 bindings.

WOOT WOOT !!!!!!

I might be buying a new jacket after this season. This is its fourth season this year. Its starting to get tired.

Am I rambling

Soft Shell, Waterproof/Breathable Soft Shell, Hard Shell....the only certainty is that shelling out the dough will be required

don't know about your neck of the woods but near me here in Jersey there is a North Face outlet. Killer deals picked up a Summit Series Powershield softshell last season for $99.00, seen it since in retail stores for about $199.00. You do the math.

Never pay full price for equipment.
