That's a lot of distance...if you are superbly fit and highly skilled it might a tough link-up, and that's if the weather cooperates.

way! Getting to the top of GOS or the Lip is 3-4 hours for a really fit person pacing themselves for a link-up attempt.

Say GOS first and then Back to the Sherby (Via the Link) for a Tux Run. A Tux run down to the Haravard Cabin will involve a bit of hiking as the Tuckerman Ravine Trail is closed to skiing, sleding & boarding. Stay at the Harvard Cabin. Climb Pinnacle Gully (it was safe on Sunday 4/10, some pressure issues) and then back to the HC, ski to TRT walk to the first crossover and Ski the Sherby as far as possible....

yeah that's 8-9 hours on the first day and about the same on the next.....better be fit!

Harvard Cabin is closed for the season so camping at Hermit is the only option. Quite a busy few days, but it would be a fun trip. It's like a Pu-Pu Platter sampler of the best of Mt Washington.

Oh No No, I didnt mean to link em up all in one or two days at all. Neither that skilled, nor that fit, nor that crazy :-).

Sorry for giving the wrong impression there!

The idea is some variation of the following: to ski in the first evening, stay at Hermit Lake (this is key to getting an early start the next morning). Then get a gully crazy early (at dawn) the next morning, and do some afternoon skiing in Tucks after having come back. Then next day head again either to Tucks, get up it, then davis path to boot spur into the Gulf of Slides (or directly up the link trail). Or maybe head to the GOS on the first day after the gully via the alpine garden-boot spur route, then ski down and back (then just do tucks the next day).

All this if-course depends on getting space at the lean-to's/tent sites. Its still a lot of work but skiing in in the evening might just make it possible. Any advice on how to structure this would be appreciated. Of-course, the simplest thing may be to stay an additional day, if the weather looks like its holding...

Now in terms of linkups, these guys (while not skiing) are the real deal: damnation (longest in huntingtons) followed by great gulf followed by tucks...
