In summary 04/05 (a work in progress)
This season has been tremendous. The trees were good, the New England powder was special all over the region.
My 04/05 has been packed with quality turns over 33 days*, every one made better by the company of fine folks. The new sticks suit me perfectly, I will not be making changes to them for next season. Hopefully they will join several T4T and me for a 10th Mtn (or similar) tour in Feb '06.
If the whim striks me, I'll try skiing in July...but, I'm thinking it's time to work on improving my climbing.
* no point in bragging cause so many T4T have over 50 days...but 33 days is a lot for me so I am content

For me it was a good year. I found that we never did get any really big dumps at Crabbe every storm blew South or North of us for the second straight year. Sping went by way too quick. Also didn't get to make it any other hills in the Maritimes, really wanted to get back to Wentworth for another huge dump that they got lots of this year and wanted to hit Mont FarLagne as they reopened. The upside was I finally made my first trip out west and did a whirlwind tour of the Canadian Rockies. All I can say is I can't wait to go back. I'm going to post a TR once summer hits to help stoke us all for the fall. As for back country, very disappointed. Had to cancel my Chic Choc trip due to too much snow! Made it to Tucks once, was hoping to hit up GG but it's just not in the cards this year. Didn't get any winter camping is as planned but did ski some new routes on our XC trails which I hope to explore more next winter.
Here's my stats...
77 days...
2 - Sugarloaf/USA
1 - Nakiska
1 - Sunshine Village
1 - Lake Louise
2 - Kicking Horse
1 - Fernie
1 - Big Rock, ME
64 - Crabbe Mountain
BC
3 - XC Skiing - Crabbe Mountain
1 - Tuckerman Ravine

I don't count anymore....... Just being able to get out to FULLY enjoy one day is a blessing. Getting more is icing on the cake and I think I have more icing than cake now! Errrr..... rephrase that.... not icing (too much like ice)... make it powder! Yeah, powder on the cake!

-21 days sliding on snow. Not as much as usual, but got married in the middle of ski season and took the warm route for a honeymoon. Which I'm still kicking myself over. Need my west coast fix.
-2 trips to TUX in April (1st turns on Hillman's)
-2 killer spring days at Sugarloaf
Looking forward to 05/06 and Portillo this August!!!
Pray for a big winter

Nice job RR, I went for quality vs quanty and had 30 days. Its def time to work on climbing, if you ever lack a partner drop me a PM!
My favorite run was on right of right in the 1st week of Dec. I could have called it a season after that one, the best run of my life.

Just missed the 50 day mark, maybe I can change that. Only skied the Loaf and the River her in the East but got a nice trip West in this year and skied a new favorite Mt... Bridger Bowl.
Highlights include:
8ft in 5 days at bridger.
Plenty of ME snow for BC
Leaned to tele and spent close to 50% of my days in the BC (with tele's)
I have 2 pairs now
Had a slow start this year only skiing a handfull in the early months up until mid Jan.
All in All an A- year...

I am not sure how many days I got this year...proly 25 or so. Made a trip out west to the cascades and idaho in a marginal snow year and got to Jay. Made my first turns on Schweitzer in Idaho and on Mt. Rainier. Also found some new stuff at Baker.
One dislocated thumb and one broken board...I would say another stellar year for me. Every year I don't kill myself is an A+++ year for me.
