Post Favorite Ski?

Just wondering what everybody's favorite ski is. Mine is the Rossi bandit XX. I am also enjoying my crossbow at setup.

my favorite planks are my Vokyl V 168 Twin Tips,
Excellent all mountain ski, short for quick turns in the woods and handles speed just a well as a long boy, not to mention the the fact that it is very light for carrying them up tucks!!

I demo'd the Rossi Bandit XX last season. Pretty nice ski. I have been religiously using the Dynastar Ski Cross for the last 4 years though. Love them. Great all mountain ski, the can rip through everything. (I get a super discount from Dynastar, they have a factory in town, and they are a client... )

Only problem is they are heavy as hell, and carrying them up to Tucks is a workout. I love them though, and would never bring anything else...

The Last two years I've been on a pair of Rossignol Pow Airs 178. Loved them, nice and light for the hike up. This year I'm on Rossi RPM 21's 177. Awesome ski, awesome edge hold but they are fairly heavy with the built in riser, race plate and demo plate. If I was to buy em again I'd go a little shorter for quicker response.

Current fav ski is the Atmoic R.ex: It handles anything and everything quite well (although no one would pick this ski from his quiver to tackle firm bumps -- but why ever ski firm bumps?) With Freeride bindings, it's the ultimate backcountry AT set-up.

The Volkl CMH Edition heli-ski (at 95mm underfoot!) is also a ton of fun, given the right powdery circumstances....

My Volkl P50, race stock, slalom skis are the ultimate weapon for skiing on groomed slopes and racing. I used to fall in love with every demo I tried. Since I got the P50s I can't find a ski I'd want to do more than one run in...they are my BEST FRIENDS...

But they don't like deep snow or slop. So I don't have a good ski for ravine and other off piste skiing. I'm using salomon screams as my "rock skis" now. They are pretty good, but I'd be interested in a light ski that can bash thru anything...let me know

Okay, I love used skis...but I lust a pair of SuperStinx for free heelin and Shuksans for AT....for long rippers it's still my 205 Rossi G3's (the result of some "ski swap archeology", but they can still glom onto an edge and drive it all the way home!)

I really like my Dynastar 4x4 ATVs but they are way too heavy for trucking up to Tucks and my 195 are a little unweildy in dense trees. At MRG I use my old Rossi 5SV strait skis, great in the bumps and the trees and OK on ice. Just started freehealing and have US Army issue mountaneering division white camo skis

I would buy Volkl P50s shorter than my Dynastars if I bought new skis today, everyone I know that has them or has tried them just rave about them like skimom

usually im on nordica waves. I absolutely love em. They are getting a bit long in the tooth though cause they have been taking a beating for 4 years. I also break out my journey skiboards a few times per season.

My favorite skis are my current skis, Volkl Explosiv. It's a true powder ski, but since I ski out west I use them every time and they rock. I even took them up to tuck's this year since I completely destroyed two other pairs of skis this season. They handled the headwall with no problem!

Volkl G4. They rip and float.
Time for light weight AT gear however. I'm too old to lug these things around on my back.
