Smile Nights cooling down

It begins to become serious : in the mid 40s next weekend at Tucks and same thing here, at St-Jovite near Tremblant. So I think that the Dunzee couloir could pass below the freezing point this weekend, 2000' above St-Jovite, as it's always, from far, the coldest place on the mountain.

Woohoooo bring on the snow now !!!

LOL forget that for now for the skis.
It's probably generally the first place skiable on the mountain, but not in august. The air may freeze a little bit, but not the ground.

I've already seen on oct 26, 1997 over 1' of natural snow coverage in this trail while there was almost no snow in Vertige and Zig-Zag which are at just 300-400 feet of there.

This is a summer version of it. There is an indication board explaining that this place is a big wind corridor and the weather is in average *I think* 8C less than on the summit. They forecast 8C at St-Jovite and 0, in celsius = freezing point. So If the summit is 3-4 degrees less warm than at St-Jovite, we could see a -4 degrees (25F) in the gully this weekend. But this is not sure to occur of course and don't think for snow there until late september.

July... not october !!

Finally it looks like Mount Washington is going to get below freezing during saturday morning/night! Get up there at dawn and there may be some skiable frost, lol. Even Killington is going to be in the mid-thirties, i bet that's getting them excited.....october opening!

Let's pray the snowgods

SNOW GODS

I wonder what is the % of the population that would consider us like completely mad, actually, talking of snow in august (don't care for them)

Naked snow dance... hmmmmm... may be at la Réserve as I never see nobody there ! lol. Forget that for Val St-Côme and Garceau, I don't want to have my pic naked all over the internet.

For the posts, congrats for Headwall Master You hit it in less than 1 month, so you will easily pass the TMC in the coming month I guess
