Got 3 inches in Newmarket, NH last night before changing to rain overnight, leaving a sloppy mess to clean up

in Bahstunn we had some mist, some drizzle and then fat flakes...no, make that obese flakes, that fell for half an hour, then it went to "immature snow".
No accumulation @chez RR

Should have gone skiing today as the base is very full, if hard (skiied yesterday). We had about 6 inches of dry, medium density snow in Jericho (Home of Snowflake Bently, incidently) and also in Johnson (VT)....could be more in the mountains.
Sun is trying to break through now but it's still spitting flakes with the wind now gettin' breezy. Cold, also (20's).
Total down low (Valley) - 6-8"...

Bit of a bust compared to predictions
10-12 at mrg, 12 at jay, 7-9 at cannon, 12 at wildcat. Upslope component is weakened but should add 2-4 at usual upslope favored places like jay, cannon, etc

Cardigan Lodge reporting 10" but I got word from someone up on top saying it was more like 12-13" on the mountain. Yeah baby!

Pico sez 11, the mart was saying 10 early in the am.
Go to the mart - it's WAY gooder there. Pico sucks dromedary dong, that is Camel C*ck.
Speaking of camel c*ck, Magic reports ten inches also. You don't wanna go there though, onacounta it is a most unmagical mountain. Terrain's awful, lifts are slow and will drip oil on your fancy one-piece, no snowmaking or grooming and crowds, liftlines are horrendous. Stratton's got it beat hands down. I heart Stratton - rilly I do.

Pretty great first 20 minutes. Vast armies of powder hounds out today, hammering anything and everything in groups of 4-8!! Pretty much done by 10.
Nevertheless, I got in 7 full POW runs with some great runs on piste. Just got to ski faster and don't fall.
Probably about 8-12" by this morning. Snowing all day. Any hard edging bottomed out into the ice base, eg in the woods. Also, I saw some natural avalanches with about 10" slabs cutting loose over an ice surface on about a 40º slope. A little sketch to ski through!

That ruler they use needs calibration. Castlerock and I verified that the Bush still sucks. I can barely stand.

Just about as good yesterday: 8-12" overnight and no tram full of powder sharks! Just the locals.
7 top to bottom POW runs.
awf170 turned up with some big boards and we pointed them down tram line while still pretty fresh.
Some boarders side slipped a killer woods run for the distance. You could mostly still ski the ultra tight, but man, did they dig out rocks and stumps, etc, etc. Moral: no seconds on tight, steep woods when there are foot prints leading in.

Its interesting that
cannon posts 6 inches; but lonesome lake and highland center have 8 inch acumulations at their stakes. guessing once again a n to NW flow setting up snow west of the mitti ridge?
