Question About the week-end...

I'm going to Tuck for the first time this week-end. I saw on the site of the Mount Washington Observatory that they are some trail and area close... Can we still ski in the ravine?

Any advice about the condition up there will be welcome... Hope to see you there!

Daniel

p.s. Sorry for my poor english, I came from Montreal and my first language is french :-)

You won't have a hard time finding someone to talk with in French up in the ravine.

The ravine is open year-round, the trails that close are trails that would've let you SKI from HoJo (the shelter abot 1/2mile from the ravine) to Pinkham (the trail head)

Other trails that close are winter routes up to the summit. Don't worry, the ravine will be accessable.

As for skiing: Don't count on much terrain. I've never been this late. There should be something, but call Pinkham to find out:
