5/11 Trip to the Back Country

Greetings,
Tua Guy and I embarked on another epic journey into the back country
via one of those little used and otherwise out of the way trails

We were surprised to see that this previously undiscovered trail had been "found" (must be all the TR's found on verious forums!)

Tua Guy looking annoyed:

After an arduous climb are destination was in sight:

but first lunch and a look into one of those secluded backcountry bowls:

Lunch had and views enjoyed its onward and upward

Tua Guy digging in to the (undesignated snow field)

TeleDancer doing the same

End-O-The Runs:

But wait Can this be the end of the trip..... non

Teledancere near a big hole in the ground

Tua guy over the rock pile

Hay we found some more Snow! I have dubbed it Tuas Pasture in seeing that
this trip was Tuas Idea. so far as we can tell nobody has been in here and
the snow has not been disturbed form previous expiditions:

After a bit more downward travel we came upon another patch of bare canvas:
Tua Guy

Teledancer:

Thats all she wrote! time for the long walk out......

and one lookback to where we were:

I understand that there is a condo up there where you can pay for a weeks stay and for the price of admission you get the pleasure of cooking meals and doing the dishes..... (many coudos to the fine folks at the MWO)(and Marty)

by the by if you have a notion to hike the N C trail there is avy damage at tree line that makes trail location very difficult....

Wew! thanks for looking!

Until you spilled the beans I was gonna follow Bruce Willis' advice in the Last Boy Scout and say something cool....

So I'll just settle for something obscure:
Woah Nellie!

reps anyway!
