Last Snow 1998
| This is it! Last snow as of May 17, 1998. Some good skiing left for die hards but don't expect very long runs or anything on the headwall. Bring a helmet and spare body parts... there are some nasty rocks awaiting at the edges of the snow. You'll notice the waterfalls on the headwall near the right of this photo. Lots of undermined snow in that area. Left and Right Gully are still skiable. Should be good till memorial day but not much beyond that. Nothing skiable on Hillmans Highway. Good crowd of about 100 in the ravine on Sunday by my estimates. |
